SPRING BASEBALL
Weston's Spring Baseball season is the heart of our organization. There are leagues for kids from PreK - 6th grade. If we have interest, we often offer a Babe Ruth team for the players who are 13+. We offer 4 leagues, each of which is designed to provide a quality developmental experience that is focused on fostering a love of the game, while providing players appropriate competitive challenges.
SPRING DIVISIONS
• Farm League TeeBall: PreK & Kindergarten
• Rookie Coach Pitch League: Grades 1 & 2
• Minor League: Grades 3 & 4
• Major League: Grades 5 & 6
WILLIAMSPORT TOURNAMENT TEAM
At the end of the spring season, Weston joins forces with Wayland and enters a team into the 12 year old Little League International Tournament. This team is our absolute most competitive team and practice right after the regular season in preparation for the Williamsport Tournament. Weston/Wayland begins the tournament competing in the District 13 Sectionals.
SUMMER TRAVEL BASEBALL
In the summer, we have teams that compete in the Jimmy Fund League. Last summer we had teams for ages K - 4. This league allows our players the opportunity to play competitive baseball throughout the summer months. The Jimmy Fund League is competitive (with exception of the K/1 League), but not as competitive as some other local summer leagues. Our summer parents & players have really enjoyed the experience.
FALL BASEBALL
What a great time of year to play baseball! It may be football season, but WLLS has teams for your children to keep the bats swinging. The Fall Ball vibe is relaxed with one game a week and an occasional practice. We offer teams for ages K-6 and it is a great season for beginners to begin to get comfortable with baseball.
WINTER CLINICS
Over the chilly winter months, WLLS will schedule optional clinics at local indoor facilities. Keep your eyes to your emails to receive information on these instructional clinics.
Players are expected to have their own glove & helmet. If you need assistance with that, please let us know.
Financial hardship should not prevent anyone from playing baseball. Requests for fee waivers or reductions should be directed to the WLLS administrator: [email protected]. All requests are confidential.
If you have questions or feedback, please let us know!
