Spring Baseball Leagues
Farm League
For children currently in Kindergarten or born before August 31, 2019
Practices/Games: Saturday mornings 8:30am - 9:30am at Burchard Park
This is an introductory T-Ball league for Pre-K and Kindergarten boys and girls. The goal of the Farm League is to have fun while learning the basic fundamentals of the batting stance and swing, fielding ground balls, throwing, and catching.
There will be 30 minutes of practice in multiple skills stations and 30 minutes of a "small sided" game, where everyone on each team gets to bat and play the field. Practice will be centered on skill stations and competitions between groups. We don't keep score, teams bat around, and there are no strikeouts.
The league provides hats, jerseys, batting tees, and other equipment. Season will begin after April vacation and continue until the end of school.
Players need to bring a glove, helmet, water bottle, and a willingness to be a great teammate!
Parents are needed to help - so come along!

Rookie League
Rookie League 'Coach Pitch' baseball is for 1st & 2nd graders.
Practices/Games: Tuesdays from 5:30pm-6:45pm & Saturdays from 9:30am-11am at Burchard Park.
This is a "Coach Pitch" baseball league. The Rookie League will build on the skills learned in Farm League and is for those who have completed Farm League and/or are new to baseball but in the 1st or 2nd grade. Focus is on having fun, learning good sportsmanship, and improving skills for batting, fielding, catching, and throwing, as well as introductory baseball strategy and situational play.
The 90 minute sessions will consist of 45 minutes of practice in multiple skills stations and 45 minutes of a "small sided" game, where everyone on each team gets to bat and play the field. Practice will be centered on skills stations and competition between groups. Each game is coach pitch with no strikeouts, walks, or extra bases on errors. Fielders are encouraged to employ baseball strategy to get outs at the appropriate base.
Season will begin after April vacation and continue until the end of school.
Players need to bring a glove, helmet, water bottle, and a willingness to be a great teammate!

Minor League
Minor League baseball is for 3rd & 4th graders.
Games: Monday, Wednesday 5:45-7:15pm
Practices: Sundays 5:45-7:15pm
Season: April 8 - June 19
Minors is a competitive league. Minors offers a continued emphasis on building skills, as players are given more opportunities to rotate positions and for playing time than in the Major League. All games have umpires.
The season begins in April and continues until mid-June.
WLL provides each player with a team jersey and hat. Players must have their own helmet, glove, water bottle, and a willingness to be a great teammate!
Players are required to wear baseball pants and baseball cleats.
Parents are needed to help - so come along!

Major League
Major League baseball is for 5th & 6th graders that are 12-years-old or younger by 8/31/24.
Games: Wed. & Fri. evenings @ Burchard
Practices: Monday evenings
The Major League in Weston Little League is the most competitive. Defensive positions and pitching opportunities are a coach's decision and maybe less evenly distributed than in the Minors and lower leagues. However, all players must play a minimum of 4 innings in a 6-inning game. Umpires officiate all games.
Major League plays with Full Baseball Rules.
The season begins in April and continues until the end of the school year.
WLL provides each player with a team jersey and hat. Players must have their own helmet, glove, bat, water bottle, and a willingness to be a great teammate!
Players are required to wear baseball pants and baseball cleats (no metal spikes).
Parents are needed to help - so come along!

Babe Ruth
Babe Ruth League baseball is for children aged 13 - 16 as of 8/31/24.
Games: Saturdays & Sundays, time TBD
Practices: No formal practices.
The Babe Ruth League is a competitive league played on a 90' diamond at WHS or WMS fields. Full baseball rules are in effect.
Games are Saturdays/Sundays with no formal weekly practice.

Fall Baseball Leagues
T-Ball League
Fall T-Ball League is for children in Pre-K or Kindergarten (2023-2024). Pre-K players MUST by 4-years-old by 8/31/23
Games: Saturdays at 8:30am-9:30am

Practice will be centered on skill stations and competitions between groups. We don’t keep score, teams bat around, and there are no strikeouts.
Season runs for 7 weeks - September 9th-October 28th
No games over the holiday weekend (October 7th)

Rookie League
Coach-Pitch baseball for players in 1st & 2nd grade (2023-2024)
Games: Saturdays at 9:30am-11am
Managers and coaches continue teaching basic baseball fundamentals, teamwork and sportsmanship. The teams will meet once a week with the sessions being split - 45 minutes of skills development and 45 minutes of a game. Virtually all standard baseball rules are adhered to with some limitations. Games are played on standard sixty foot base paths – standard little league dimensions. Teams bat in a continuous order working through the lineup until there are 3 outs or everyone has had a chance to hit. Coaches will pitch and the tee can be used if a player is struggling to make contact. Each player will receive a shirt and hat and is expected to have their own bat, and glove.
Season runs for approx. 6 weeks - September 9th - late October
No games over the holiday weekend (October 7th)

Cost for Fall 2023: $150
Minor League
Baseball for players in 3rd & 4th grade (2023-2024)
Practices: Fridays at 5pm-6:30pm
Games: Sundays at 1pm. Games in Weston - there are NO playoffs.
Managers and coaches continue teaching basic baseball fundamentals and teamwork. The teams will play at least 1 game a week with league assigned patched umpires or trained teenage umpires. Virtually all standard baseball rules are adhered to with some limitations. Games are played on standard sixty foot base paths – standard little league dimensions. Teams bat in a continuous order, batting until three outs or 4 runs. Players pitch to other teams (pitch counts apply) and catchers will be needed. Each player will receive a shirt and hat and is expected to have their own bat, and glove.
Season runs for approx. 6 weeks - September 10th - late October
No games over the holiday weekend (October 8th)

Major League
Baseball for players in 5th & 6th grade (2023-2024)
Practices: There may be a weekday practice scheduled by the coach.
Games: Sundays at 3pm. Games in Weston & Wayland. There are NO playoffs. Make-up games in early November.
Managers and coaches continue teaching baseball fundamentals and teamwork. The teams will play at least 1 game a week with league assigned patched umpires. Virtually all standard baseball rules are adhered to with some limitations. Games are played on standard sixty foot base paths – standard little league dimensions. Teams play 6 inning games and bat in a continuous order, batting until three outs or 5 runs are scored in an inning.
Season runs for approx. 6 weeks - September 10th - late October
No games over the holiday weekend (October 8th)
